Muslims Vote Project Mobilizes Brooklyn for Raj Goyle
After Friday prayers, our community came together for a full day of grassroots organizing across Brooklyn — and the energy was undeniable.
📋 FLYER DISTRIBUTION
Right after Jumu'ah, our volunteers hit the ground, distributing flyers and having direct conversations with community members about the importance of this election and why Raj Goyle deserves our vote for State Comptroller.
🕌 5 MASJIDS CANVASSED
Our canvassing teams covered five masjids across the community today:
1️⃣ Makki Masjid
2️⃣ Bilal Masjid
3️⃣ Abu Bakar Masjid
4️⃣ Quba Masjid
5️⃣ Umm-ul-Qura Masjid
10 canvassers. 5 masjids. One mission: making sure our community is registered, informed, and ready to vote.
🎤 PRESS CONFERENCE
At today's press conference, Zakarya Khan spoke about why Muslims Vote Project was created — to encourage Muslim Americans to register, vote, and fully participate in our democracy. He also highlighted that Muslims Vote Project was proud to be an early endorser of Zohran Mamdani, having introduced him to the Little Pakistan community and backed him when he was still polling at just 2%. A reminder that our community's early belief and organizing power can change the trajectory of an election.
Ali Najmi also took the mic, speaking about Raj Goyle's record of service and the work he's done for our communities, praising his commitment and leadership.

Raj Goyle laid out his platform as the Affordability Watchdog running for State Comptroller:

The day closed with a full community rally — banners raised, voices united, and a clear message sent: our community shows up, and our community votes.
From Friday prayers to the press conference to the streets, today was grassroots organizing at its best. Five masjids, ten canvassers, one unified community — all standing behind Raj Goyle for State Comptroller.
