We had a fantastic visit last week to The Farmhouse, our newest home being renovated in North Arlington. A number of us gathered with our partners from Habitat for Humanity of Washington, D.C. & Northern Virginia, National Capital Region, and builder captain Toll Brothers, to sign the studs of our new home.

Through snowstorms, asbestos and lead abatement, pauses due to historical reviews, waiting for an endangered bat species migration to end, and countless other hurdles and adventures, we have arrived at this incredible place at The Farmhouse.

All of this is built on the foundation the Reeves Family carved out—we are so grateful to inherit such a beautiful story of hospitality, generosity, good hard work, and togetherness. We hope to steward that gift well.

The addition has siding, our partners are getting ready to install spray-foam insulation, and the drywall will be up soon. Before we know it, this nearly decade-long project will be ready for a new chapter!

Another lovely Euclid House vacation in the books.

We don't take for granted how donor funding enables us to travel as a home and spend this distinct time together. It's not very common for "group homes" to go on family vacation together, but that's exactly what this is. Some time together in a different place, especially by the water, really strengthens and bonds us as a home and team. 💙 🌊 🍹🚗

We won an Emmy! Our short film, On Loneliness, won at the 68th Capital Emmys in the Societal Concerns - Short Form Content category.

It is incredible the spaces this film has carried us. It really speaks to the strength and need of friendships across difference, the importance of people with disabilities in leadership positions, and the realities of loneliness in our society.

Congratulations to Everable, the incredible film production company that made it all possible. You held our stories with such grace and dignity and shared them in a way that is changing the world.
