Welcome Alexandra, one of our latest additions to the international team! She will be taking the role of Research and Communications Coordinator. Here’s a message from Alexandra:
I’m from Sweden but have lived in England for most of my life, attending an international school where I was surrounded by a multitude of different perspectives and cultures. I’m currently in my first year studying a BSc in Global Sustainable Development at the University of Warwick, where I’m able to deepen, develop, or expand my passion for sustainability and the interconnected challenges shaping our world.
In my free time, I love playing sports — especially football — and I spend my summers sailing. I’m also an avid reader, though these days I find myself gravitating more toward podcasts, the occasional TED Talk, and a mix of music, notably RnB.
My role at ODIF involves piloting our organisational research, coordinating outreach to potential partners for collaboration, and supporting various projects across the organisation.
The root of my passion for this work began with a project I led in high school to eliminate the selling and use of plastic bottles across campus. Working with our sustainability club sparked my long‑term commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable change, climate action, and utilising technology and AI-driven tools to solve our sustainability challenges.
I’m so excited to take on this journey with ODIF to help strengthen youth leadership in dialogue‑based climate action and contribute to building more collaborative, inclusive spaces for change!
