Check out a new ODCC event report from our team in Vietnam! 🇻🇳

TEAM VIETNAM - CCYPS
Coordinator: Phạm Kim Hồng Ngọc
Mentor: Adamou Ndam

🌍 A virtual, 75-minute workshop, organized as part of the onboarding and training series for new members of the Climate Conscious Young Professionals Society.

💬 CCYPS invited two main stakeholder groups: university students and fresh graduates who are interested in climate change and in green jobs within their fields. Both groups are at an early stage of their careers, so they are directly affected by how climate change reshapes the job market, and they are the people CCYPS aims to support.

The training brought together 20 young women and girls for two days of learning: an in-person practical session on the first day and an online session on the second.

💬 Across both sessions, the training aimed to develop participants’ knowledge, leadership, and advocacy skills, while encouraging them to consider practical climate-action initiatives for their communities.

💬 The session, titled “Strengthening Community Resilience Through Climate Dialogue,” was organised to create a safe and inclusive space for community members to discuss how changing environmental and weather conditions are affecting their livelihoods and wellbeing. The dialogue also provided an opportunity for participants to share their lived experiences and identify practical actions that communities and other stakeholders can take to strengthen local resilience.
