This program of solo songs from the 16th and 20th centuries promises captivating music and poetry, while inviting audiences to engage with still life creations. While separated in life by 300 years, John Dowland and Benjamin Britten shared masterful gifts for setting poetry to music and this program honors their contributions to our musical landscape.

This intimate program performed by soprano Jolle Greenleaf, tenor Haitham Haidar, lutenist Charles Weaver, and harpist Amanda Beranek reveals the engaging simplicity of the human voice’s ability to tell stories and capture the imagination.

The dust is settling on Orfeo, our “brilliant, affecting staged-opera debut” (New York Classical Review) and we could not be more proud of our incredible cast and crew. Thank you to everyone who joined us for two sold out evenings of this “deeply affecting” production. We can’t wait to continue spreading our wings in more performances like this in the future, and we hope you’ll be there with us 🪉❤️
