A new season begins, and you don’t want to miss it. Join us September 25 & 26 for fully-staged performances of Monteverdi’s Orfeo 🗓️

Considered the earliest complete musical drama, Orfeo recounts the myth of Orpheus — the legendary musician who journeys into the underworld, and uses the power of music to plead for the release of his wife, Euridice 🎶

Our production features a merry band of strings and early brass led by Charles Weaver, staging by Alyssa Weathersby, and stunning projections designed by Camilla Tassi 🎻

We were thrilled to be a part of the first year of Triad, a four-day partnership with Music in the Somerset Hills and The Bach Choir of Bethlehem, with support from Trinity Church, NYC!! We gathered nine young artists for two days of rehearsal and coaching followed by a culminating performance of works by J.S. Bach, J.M. Bach, Heinrich Schütz, and Larry Lipkis. The singers received daily coaching, masterclasses in performance practice and vocal health, and professional development experience — all at no cost 🎶
