Food Distribution - July 24, 2026

Last week, we had our busiest day of the summer! We served 210+ households in the Oakland Community with 3,300+ pounds of food, ensuring that over 770+ people were fed.

We could have not gotten through such a high traffic day without the help of our volunteers, the students of Ala Costa Center, and the staff of the Melrose Library, especially Jade!

July 2026 Schedule for the Bay Area Street Pantry food distribution.

📌 ALL Distributions for July will be held at the Melrose Branch Library.

- ❗️Heat Warning: As the temperature heats up, we may be starting 30 minutes early (9:30am) and ending 30 minutes sooner (11:30am) on days that are expected to be 78°+.

- 📣 Service numbers are handed out at 7:30am, 8:00am, 8:30am, and 9:00am.

📌 Distributions at Fremont High School are suspended for the summer.

APRIL 2026 Schedule for the Bay Area Street Pantry food distribution.

📌 Distributions are held every Friday at the Melrose Library.

- ❗️Heat Alert: Due to the rising temperatures, we may start 30 minutes early (9:30am) and end 30 minutes sooner (11:30am) on days projected to be 78 degrees or higher.

- 📣Service numbers are handed out at 8:00am-9:00am.

📌 Distribution is held every 3rd Thursday of the month at Fremont High School.

Food is provided by ACCFB.

This Friday, December 19th in Oakland, CA!

Free clothes, toys, blankets, food, and haircuts!

We are proud to partner with the Main Branch of the Oakland Public Library to provide food for the Oakland community this Friday, December 19!

There will be toys, clothes, and blankets, as well as haircuts provided by So Fresh City.

Another successful turkey giveaway at the Melrose Branch Library! - A huge 🅣🅗🅐🅝🅚 🅨🅞🅤 to Oakland Lodge #61 for sponsoring this year's giveaway! - Additional food was provided by Alameda County Community Food Bank. ❤️

Together, with the help of our volunteers, we served 153 households for the holiday.

We also had cat & dog food available, provided by the East Bay SPCA. Together, we were able to provide 62 households with some pet Food!

📌 We will be providing food at a special event at the Main Library branch in Oakland on the 19th.
