Sending our deepest condolences to the family, loved ones, and fans of Michael Wright. 🕊️ His incredible talent and portrayal of Eddie King Jr. in The Five Heartbeats left an unforgettable mark on Black cinema.

His passing brings attention to Marchiafava-Bignami disease a rare neurological disorder where toxic or nutritional deficits cause progressive damage to the brain’s central nerve fibers. Understanding the critical role nutrition, metabolic balance, and substance management play in brain and heart health is essential for long-term prevention.

This is the conversation I had over and over at the Health Summit and Expo at Riverside Church Harlem , and it needs to reach more of our families.

Eczema in babies and toddlers is not just a skin condition. It can be the first sign of the atopic march, the progression from eczema to food allergies to asthma. Our children are diagnosed with both eczema and asthma at higher rates, and their symptoms get dismissed too often.

If your child has eczema, don't stop at the skin. Ask your pediatrician about asthma risk and allergy testing, and keep an eye out for wheezing, nighttime coughing, or shortness of breath.

Early awareness can change the entire trajectory for your child's health.

Save this and send it to a parent you know 👇
