We’re proud to celebrate our Co-founder and Executive Director, Felita Harris, on the announcement of her first book, The Designer’s Path: A Masterclass in Building Independent Fashion Brands.

Drawing from decades of experience building businesses, advising designers, and working alongside independent talent, Felita has created a practical resource for designers and entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey. The book features a foreword by the legendary Bethann Hardison.

We’re proud to see our board, founding team, Masterclass, and broader RAISEfashion community represented in this milestone. The book features voices and perspectives from Sheena Butler-Young, SR, April Hennig Karras, Gary Wassner, Peter Arnold from Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF), Jayne Harkness, Douglas Hand, Elizabeth von der Goltz, and April Uchitel.

Through its partnership with RAISEfashion, Crown Royal is investing in the next generation of emerging designers, including a $15,000 Crown Royal Designer Grant to support an entrepreneur’s vision and long-term business growth.

100% of net proceeds from the Crown Royal x Juicy Couture collaboration will also benefit RAISEfashion and its continued investment in the designer community.
Crown Royal will serve as the Exclusive Spirits Partner of The Penthouse Edit, RAISEfashion x ’s two-day shopping experience during New York Fashion Week, where the grant recipient will be announced.

From insight to impact 💫

Masterclass is more than a week of programming. It’s about creating opportunities for designers to implement what they’ve learned, build meaningful relationships, and grow their businesses long after the sessions end.

Our ongoing partnership with The Standard brings that mission to life. In June, The Standard, East Village hosted our 2026 Masterclass designers for a day with ShopMy centered on influence, entrepreneurship, and commerce, culminating in a curated shop that connected their work with new audiences.

Building on several collaborations, our partnership with The Standard continues this NYFW, creating new opportunities for independent designers.

This week, the RAISEfashion x ANTI-RACISM FUND Summer Interns gathered at Bloomingdale’s headquarters for an evening of speed networking with industry professionals.

Throughout the evening, interns connected with leaders from across the fashion industry, exchanged ideas, asked thoughtful questions, and built meaningful relationships that will extend far beyond one evening.
