EVENT: What if preventing burnout isn't just about doing less?

We often talk about managing workload, setting boundaries and building resilience. But what if another part of the solution is doing more of the work that gives us energy, purpose and meaning?

Join Kathryn Jackson for an engaging discussion on how meaningful work can help us stay motivated, energised and effective, even when work is demanding.

A session for people who spend their working lives helping others learn, grow and thrive, and who deserve to recharge too.

We ask hundreds of questions a day, but few of us stop to consider the intent behind them. Join us for a practical session with Dr Ganga as he introduces the Question Intent Matrix.

Learn to distinguish between asking to understand, guide, challenge, or influence. This simple but powerful framework will help you uncover deeper insights, reduce workplace conflict, and drive more decisive action. LANDSCAPE SURVEY 📊

Are your L&D teams quietly using personal AI accounts to get work done?

70% of Aotearoa learning professionals tell us AI integration is their top capability priority for 2026.

Yet, 42% rely on personal, unapproved Generative AI accounts to execute daily tasks because organisation-wide tools or clear usage policies simply aren't in place.

When official corporate infrastructure fails to keep pace with practitioner enthusiasm, "Shadow IT" becomes the default. This gap leaves organisations exposed to data privacy, IP, and copyright risks—while signalling an urgent need for capability support.

Is Shadow IT putting your organisation at risk, or is it a sign your team needs better support?

Download the full Aotearoa New Zealand L&D Landscape Report 2026 to explore how local learning teams are navigating GenAI governance, tooling, and ethics.

Communicate Powerfully: Stop Talking. Start Changing

Communication: we all do it, but how many of us have actually mastered it?

Most workplace challenges aren't about the work, they're about the way we talk about it. Join us for a high-energy NZATD webinar where we dive into the four communication styles and how to make them work for you, not against you.

Learn the small shifts in clarity and empathy that change everything about how your team feels heard. It’s practical, relatable, and believe it or not, actually funny. Say goodbye to 'painful' communication and hello to better results.

LANDSCAPE SURVEY 📊

How can L&D prove business ROI when almost half the industry doesn't see the budget?

Over three-quarters (77%) of New Zealand learning functions sit inside People & Capability or HR teams.

However, 46.6% of practitioners operate without any visibility into their total annual L&D budget, and only 13.6% feel positioned as true Strategic Drivers in their organisation.

Without budget transparency or seats at the executive table, learning teams are too often pushed into reactive "order-taker" roles—measured on course completions rather than performance impact.

Want to shift from a reactive training function to a strategic capability partner?

Grab your copy of the Aotearoa New Zealand L&D Landscape Report 2026 to explore national benchmarks on structure, influence, and business alignment across the motu.
