A taste of the schedule

Sections that anyone can enter:

Beginner
Your chance to have a go.
Any theme. All ages are divided into 4 age groups.

Novelty Cake
A cake inspired by the World of Wearable Arts.

Special Category
A cake inspired by a dress – wedding, summer or cultural. Actual dress can be staged if desired.

Wedding Cake - Modern
A modern style wedding cake, design your choice.

For Cake Club/Guild members

Wedding Cake - Handcrafted
Traditional styles such as royal icing, sugar flowers.

Celebration Cake
Novelty shaped birthday with any theme or style.

Painted Plaque
Edible paints or cocoa hand painted image on a homemade sugar plaque.

Floral Posy
Minimum of 5 flowers made from any edible medium.

Floral Posy
Minimum of 5 flowers made from Cold porcelain.

Novelty Item
Single adults shoe, on an actual shoebox.

Miniature Formal
A teeny tiny wedding cake of your choice

Mini Cake
Scaled down cake with a Sewing room themed decoration on top.

These classes are for those members who have excelled and reached 3 gold medals

Wedding Cake Open
A wedding cake to co-ordinate with a World of Wearable Arts costume.

Miniature Formal Open
A miniature wedding cake to co-ordinate with a World of Wearable Arts costume.

Floral Open
Hand held arrangement in either sugar or cold porcelain medium to co-ordinate with a dress or costume of your choice.
