Feeling crafty? Got some unfinished projects? Want to make some new friends who share the same interests?

Come along to our craft club! This month, craft club will be hosted on the 9th and the 23rd (June) from 5pm until 8pm. Everyone is welcome to join.

We have limited supplies on hand that are available for use and we encourage you to bring your own project. Think knitting, crochet, scrapbooking, drawing, beading, whatever floats your boat.

Te Whare Kahukura is back for drop in services. Our space will be open to the public for casual drop ins every Thursday from 10am until 1pm.

Coffee and tea are available, hope to see you there 🥳

Hey everyone! We would like to send our greatest apologies to anyone who wanted to attend our first Q***r Hair session.

We have had to cancel due to availability but are hoping to reschedule sometime soon.

Exciting things happening at Te Whare Kahukura!

Mark your calendars for Q***r Hair with Rhubarber and another special guest!

Our doors will be open for koha cuts (koha is appreciated but no form of payment is required) on Saturday the 16th of May from 9am until 4pm.

Keep an eye out, we will be posting a booking link if you want to secure a spot.

Our AGM is coming up on the 19th of May, 6pm at Te Whare Kahukura (2/330 High Street).

This meeting will focus on how our last year went as an organisation and how we will move forward.

This is open to the public and as a community we encourage you to share your thoughts.

Kia ora tātou!

Just a wee update on the Te Whare Kahukura o Te Awa Kairangi community hub. We are currently undergoing some changes in our space and unfortunately will not be able to provide drop in services.

Burnett Foundation will continue testing on the second Thursday of each month. Q***r Care will continue on Wednesday afternoons from 3pm until 5pm.

There will be news on hours and groups coming shortly so thank you all for your patience. Keep your eyes and ears open for future updates.
