Back to School in full effect. So proud that we were able to provide ALL Banneker students with brand new school supply kits this year. Mr. Carter, Principal at Banneker couldn’t be more happier!!

Project Knapsack is proud to be able to provide school supply kits for EVERY single student at Banneker Elementary School again this year. With the rising costs of basic school supplies and other educational resources, we are grateful to be able to step in and make a difference. Shout out to Middleburg Community Center who partnered with Project Knapsack Inc. and helped us raise the remaining funds at our Juneteenth fundraiser. It truly takes a village 🙌🏾📝🖍️📚✏️📏📙✂️

- Throwing it back to our last day of school visit to Project Knapsack partner School, Claude Thompson in Rectortown, VA with Bea and Sarah Lynch. Last year, Project Knapsack provided resources to build an outdoor learning center at Claude Thompson and donated a one of a kind blue bunny sculpture created by local artist Brian Kirk. On this day we read a special book about bunnies and assisted students as they painted porcelain bunny piggy banks. We are so proud of these smart, kind and creative young people. Thank you to everyone who support our efforts. Together we can make a difference.

Fantastic weekend bringing people together and celebrating Juneteenth this weekend in Middleburg. In partnership with the Middleburg Community Center, we were able to raise over $1K to help purchase school supplies for elementary students at Banneker Elementary School. Thank you to everyone who came out! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

🇿🇦 A special shout out to our friends at for donating brand new socks to sixth grade students from the Ocean View Secondary School in Cape Town, South Africa. Ocean View is a township in the Western Cape. Most students come from impoverished homes and have to walk miles to school each way. So happy to work with these smart, talented and hard working young Kings and Queens!!
