For Mohamed, it was the chance to receive surgery that could change the course of his childhood. A quiet boy with a love for science and dreams of becoming an engineer, he has spent years living with bowed legs.

At school, Mohamed is known by a nickname that reminds him of his condition. But that's not how he sees himself.

Mohamed is a quiet student who loves science and dreams of becoming an engineer. Born with bowed legs, he has faced challenges no child should have to endure.

Thanks to surgery aboard the , he now has hope for a future where he can focus less on his condition and more on pursuing his dreams.

At long last, the Global Mercy has arrived in the Port of Tema, Ghana! 🇬🇭🥹
