Africa, but make it intentional.

A full day curated through vision and connection where our founder welcomed 150+ minds into a space where culture, conversation, and curiosity met at .

From the flavors to the energy in the room, every detail spoke. New relationships were formed. Ideas were exchanged. Presence was felt.

To the ones who showed up open, engaged, and ready, this was for you.

And this is only the beginning. 🌍✨🇿🇦

Across villages, cities, coastlines, and communities, Black women continue to shape the world with strength, resilience, and vision.

In Kenya, women are community builders, educators, entrepreneurs, mothers, and leaders—holding together families and cultures while guiding the next generation forward. Their courage reflects a deeper truth: when women rise, entire communities rise with them.

On International Women’s Day, we celebrate the power, wisdom, and unity of Black women across the diaspora. From Nairobi to New Orleans, from Accra to Johannesburg, their leadership reminds us that empowerment is not just about recognition—it’s about opportunity, education, and access for the generations coming next.

At Black Kids Travel, we believe cultural connection builds global citizens. When young people witness the brilliance, leadership, and resilience of women around the world, it expands what they believe is possible for themselves and their communities.

Because when young minds travel, learn, and connect with powerful role models across cultures, the future becomes limitless.

Together we uplift.
Together we empower.
Together we build the next generation of global leaders.

These portraits are a reminder that behind every statistic about poverty, water access, or education… there are real people, real families, and real communities.

Kenya is a country full of strength, beauty, culture, and resilience. Yet many communities across Africa still face challenges that many of us never have to think about — access to clean water, school supplies for children, food security, and basic infrastructure.

Through our work with Black Geo and Black Kids Travel, we travel not just to explore the world, but to serve it. Our mission is rooted in cultural immersion and humanitarian action — helping support communities by providing clean water access, school supplies, food, clothing, and infrastructure development where it’s needed most.

But this work is bigger than any one person or organization. It takes a community.

If these portraits move you, we invite you to be part of the impact.

Your support helps us continue projects that directly assist communities throughout Africa.

Donate, share, or simply help spread awareness.

Because travel should not only change the traveler…
it should also uplift the places we visit.

World Wildlife Day 🌍🦒

We’ve stood in the red dust of the Mara watching elephants move like ancestors.
We’ve locked eyes with lions at sunrise.
We’ve watched giraffes stretch toward the same sky that stretches over New Orleans, New York, Senegal, Morocco — all of us connected.

Wildlife conservation isn’t separate from humanitarian work.
When ecosystems collapse, communities suffer.
When poaching rises, poverty deepens.
When we protect wildlife, we protect people.

Through Black Geo and Black Kids Travel, our mission has always been bigger than travel. It’s cultural immersion, humanitarian impact, and environmental responsibility — all intertwined.

The animals we photograph are not props.
They are legacy.
They are balance.
They are a reminder that we are guests on this planet.

On this World Wildlife Day, I’m asking you to go beyond the like.

🌍 Support conservation.
🌍 Support ethical tourism.
🌍 Support education for the next generation of global citizens.

If you believe in protecting wildlife while empowering communities, consider donating to our nonprofit. The link is in my bio.

This isn’t just a trip to Africa.
This is a return to connection.

From August 1–10, we journey to Kenya during the legendary Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest cross the Mara in one of nature’s greatest stories of survival.

But The Journey Through Africa goes beyond the wildlife.

Hosted by this experience blends cultural immersion, humanitarian work, wellness, and adventure — creating space to slow down, reconnect, and rediscover purpose through travel.

Imagine a retreat inspired by National Geographic exploration, Peace Corps service, and the intentional energy of a mental wellness escape.

We’ll live alongside communities, learn from local cultures, support meaningful initiatives, and witness Africa not as tourists… but as students of the world.

Because sometimes healing, clarity, and inspiration aren’t found at home —
they’re found where humanity and nature move as one.

We don’t just travel.
We shift perspective.

Black Kids Travel is about breaking the limits of what feels possible. About putting culture, identity, and global awareness in front of our people early, so the world never feels small.

This is exposure as power.
This is travel with intention.
This is legacy work in motion.

For the youth who deserve to see beyond their block.
For the creatives who move with purpose.
For the partners who believe access changes everything.

We open the world early.
So the next generation grows up unstoppable.

Essaouira carries history in its walls and ease in its air. The city moves with a laid-back rhythm, wind off the Atlantic, music drifting through the medina, time stretching just enough to let you breathe. Shaped by African, Arab, and European influence, the vibe is creative, coastal, and unhurried. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t ask you to rush and invites you to get comfortable.
