Meet two incredible voices joining our side meeting 🌍
Intergenerational leadership only works when experienced leaders are ready to listen, mentor and share the table. We’re delighted to introduce two who do exactly that.
Dr. Molly Fitzgerald is Executive Director at MultiPOD Mentoring. A global health collaborator, social science researcher and advocate for inclusive, equity-oriented health systems, Dr. Fitzgerald brings a 30-year career spanning teaching, mentoring and research on health equity, human rights and sexual and reproductive health. She has also Dr. Molly Fitzgerald is Executive Director at MultiPOD Mentoring. A global health collaborator, social science researcher and advocate for inclusive, equity-oriented health systems, Dr. Fitzgerald brings a 30-year career spanning teaching, mentoring and research on health equity, human rights and sexual and reproductive health. She has also facilitated youth-led approaches to humanitarian challenges in education, child protection and health.
👉 Dr. Fitzgerald believes everyone can be an expert in their own context, and what works in one setting may not work in another. That is why she points out that intergenerational leadership should be connected to a broader commitment to radical inclusivity, not simply bringing together different ages, but creating space for different contexts, experiences and perspectives.
Dr. Moredreck Chibi is Public Health Innovation Lead at WHO Regional Office for Europe. With 20+ years in innovation leadership and health systems strengthening across Africa and Europe, Dr. Chibi leads implementation of WHO/Europe’s regional Strategy for harnessing innovation for public health 2025-2030 and established its Public Health Innovation Platform. Before that, he developed the first Strategy for Scaling Up Health Innovations at WHO Regional Office for Africa, adopted by 47 Member States.
👉 Dr. Chibi says: “Spending time with young people is my happy place. I have seen what happens when someone believes in them: confidence grows, ideas become action, and leaders are born. I want to be that person for the next generation of global health leaders.”
