In this online class, we’ll talk through practical skills for narrative interviewing, from figuring out what questions to ask to asking questions in a way that prompts story and emotion, and how to help sources tap into the details of stories that are often long past.

Last month we joined the African Climate Foundation, the New Economy Hub and Create SA in a Just Energy Transition Learning Exchange 🌳

The event brought together experts to discuss Just Energy Transition learnings and share ideas. It also marked the beginning of a relationship between Senegalese and South African experts, as government officials and experts from both countries were invited.

From Radio Workshop's side, Hendrick Kekana & Siya Mokoena attended to share how young reporters are tackling the JET through their on-air campaigns.

Seven storytellers from across Africa. One week of audio training 🎧

Last month, we launched the 2026 RESONATE Story Lab Fellowship with an intensive week-long audio workshop in Johannesburg, led by trainers from Transom, and we’re still buzzing.

By the end of the week, the fellows had developed stories profiling exceptional people in the city, and shared them live in front of an audience at the studios.

It was a packed week of new ideas, new skills, and new perspectives, and we can’t wait to hear the stories the fellows produce from their home countries next through the AIR New Voices Fellowship, in partnership with AIR (Association of Independents in Radio).
