This is a heartfelt plea to our SALT Projects family. 🙏

Many of you know Maria through our Isidima programme. A woman of unwavering faith, incredible strength, and endless compassion, Maria has spent years encouraging and supporting those around her, even while facing her own challenges.

Today, Maria is bravely battling cancer and can no longer walk. While we have been able to provide many of the essentials she needs, she urgently requires a wheelchair.

If you are able to help, whether through a donation towards a wheelchair or by sharing this post, we would be deeply grateful.

Let's come together for a woman who has given so much of herself to others. Please contact us if you would like to contribute. 💛

Yum yum!!! 🍲💛 Every meal we serve is cooked with love and care. For some of our students, this is the only meal they’ll have for the day ... which makes every plate so important.

Partner with us as we continue feeding students across Parklands, Table View, and surrounding communities. Together, we can be a light in our area and bring hope, dignity, and nourishment where it’s needed most.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Blouberg Ridge Primary School, Chalkwood House, and Reach Church for their incredibly generous donation of Easter eggs to our school feeding learners.

We carried out distributions last week and again this week across our partner schools, and the impact was truly special. Your kindness helped create moments of joy, excitement, and celebration for children who deeply value these small but meaningful gestures.

What may seem like a simple gift made a big difference ... bringing smiles, warmth, and a sense of being seen and cared for during the Easter season.
