Harry’s on his way to South Africa as I write this post, so here’s a massive, ‘Thank you’ to everyone who encouraged him in his DofE work and helped him get on his journey of a lifetime, by giving him jobs over the summer.

Harry’s been AWOL, busy competing in a national hockey championship with school - which they won 🥇
This weekend he’s doing his Gold Expedition in the Peak District 🥾
Back on it next weekend and over Easter 🐣

Fun in the sun with the brambles along Station Road. Tidying up the entrance to the village. Good progress made. More soon. Bumped into Mick Yates for Elmton & Creswell Whitwell Langwith & Hodthorpe

Does anyone have a large builders bag Harry could use today for his DofE work along station road please? We need something large to put green waste in.
Thanks

Week 27.
Further work on Malthouse Road.

In the bleak mid winter
He crawled out of bed.
“Do we really have to?”
Harry Parker said.

But outdoors he went and
Not a single moan
True determination
He has really shown.

Week 25 - Revisiting the path up to HIGH Hill
Plenty of overgrowth cut back to make the path more accessible, but the difference isn’t as clear as other weeks.
A good effort 😉

Week 22

Great work in today’s awful weather Harry Parker and his amazing grandparents Mary Hodgson Keith Hodgson as they ventured out and collected two full bags of who knows what 😉

Week 21 was spent tidying up the green waste into bags, ready for Planterior to very kindly take away.
