For Maine Music Collective’s June One Day Chorus, we sang Savage Daughter by Karen L U Kahan/Wyndreth Berginsdottir. Mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, friends. Every generation, one room, one voice, one rage passed down and finally sung out loud. Would 10/10 love to bottle up the energy that was in that room after this performance 🙌🔥

We sang for every woman who was told to quiet down and didn’t. For the wildness we’re not supposed to keep. For voices getting louder instead of smaller, generation after generation. This song is a war cry disguised as a lullaby. For one afternoon, 148 women stopped whispering it and started singing it.

To everyone who showed up: you made this unforgettable. THANK YOU!

Join us for our July One Day Chorus on Saturday! This time, we’re taking on Sugar, We’re Goin’ Down by Fall Out Boy 🤌🔥

This isn’t a typical choir.
No auditions.
No weekly rehearsals.
No pressure.

You learn your part on your own and on your own schedule. Then, on performance day, you’ll show up to the space, meet your fellow singers for the very first time, rehearse together, and perform together - all in just a few hours. It’s that simple and SO much fun!

If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to step back into singing - or try it for the very first time - this is it. If you love singing, but don’t have the time to commit to regular rehearsals - this is for you.

Whether you’re a shower singer, a choir veteran, or simply someone who just fuggin loves Fall Out Boy, you’re welcome here. No experience needed - just a little courage and a love for music!

I dunno. Just felt like the perfect day to post everyone’s favorite part of our Rage Against the Machine + Black Sabbath One Day Chorus. Happy Independence Day, everyone 🇺🇸🤘😉

Teaching an entire chorus of total strangers who just met for the first time 3 hours prior to properly sing f-bombs was not on our 2026 bingo card but you know…we’re extremely okay with it. 😅 You do what you gotta do to raise money for charity!

For our April One Day Chorus, we had the pleasure of performing Killing in the Name by Rage Against the Machine, mashed up with War Pigs by Black Sabbath. Felt awfully fitting for where things are at. 😌

A huge thank you to Will for throwing down some serious moves on the piano! And let’s all give a gigantic round of applause to Chris for his fuggin’ phenomenal solo! 🔥🤘

And a HUGE thank you to all the talented strangers who joined us for this event! Just realized we only ever uploaded small clips from this one to IG & FB. For those who never got to see the full performance of our Radiohead One Day Chorus, this one’s for you!

For our third One Day Chorus, it only made sense to sing Creep by Radiohead arranged by the incredibly talented Kenter Davies in the iconic Woodford’s Church in Portland, Maine. The vibes and accoustics were both an absolute 10/10. 🤌

A HUGE thank you to all the talented strangers who joined us for this event, and to Woodford’s Church for opening up their space to us! This has been the most fulfilling and fun project we’ve ever got to be a part of, and we wouldn’t be doing it without you all ❤️
