Earth Day is every day here at Urban Gleaners 🌎 We’re diverting 1.2 million pounds of food away from the landfill every single year. That also means around 9,000 individuals gain access to healthy and delicious meals every single week for free.

This work is important. Our community deserves equitable access to food and a healthier environment 💚

We’re doing something fun on Thursday April 23rd! 🍎 Join us and at to celebrate our delicious gleaned cider!

This is a casual event that’s open to the public, so bring some friends, enjoy some live music and bites from a local food truck, and sip on some gleaned cider (or from a huge selection of other beverages).

Our Executive Director, Haris, will be there alongside Bauman’s founder and head cider maker, Christine, to talk a little bit about our collaboration and why it matters to our local food system.

🫜Seeking volunteers for this Friday’s (4/10) farm harvest at Fiddlehead Farm!!🥕

Farm gleaning season has come early this year! We’ve already had 3 harvests at , totaling over 2,400 lbs of fresh, organic produce for UG Free Food Markets 💚

Join us out in Corbett this Friday, April 10, for our next harvest! We need extra hands to glean as much produce as we can 🤝

The weather is looking fantastic, and we expect to get a variety of fun spring seasonal veggies including raabs, leeks, spinach, and more. As a volunteer, you get to spend time in a beautiful farm setting and you get to take home some of the harvest, all while supporting equitable food access for your community 💚
