is a Latino-led organization dedicated to advancing the social and economic mobility of all communities. Their leadership has shaped transformative projects — including converting the former Sugar Shack into Las Adelitas, creating affordable housing for communities vulnerable to displacement.

We are continually impressed by all that Hacienda has achieved to help communities prosper — especially youth and families. Their afterschool programs and collective approach to supporting young people in so many ways inspire us, and we’re grateful to have partnered with them for years.
On the snow, you could see sheer determination in their eyes. They laughed through the falls, kept getting back up, and built stronger relationships with one another — building confidence, joy, and resilience along the way.

We are honored to partner with Hacienda Community Development Corporation and their incredible youth to bring a holistic approach to youth development to life on the mountain.

The group from really showed grit, determination and heart on the slopes. Taking the time to progress through the steps of learning and getting up on the lift. By the end of the day they were riding down the slopes together enjoying the fresh pow! JOIN US THIS SUNDAY!!!

Snowdays Foundation is proud to partner with Rooted School Vancouver — a small charter school built on the belief that education can transform economic opportunity. Rooted is working to disrupt the cycle of poverty by equipping students with the tools they need to succeed in their post-secondary paths and build long-term financial freedom.
Through their innovative model — including 360° student supports, tech-industry certifications, fellowships, internships, and personalized learning — Rooted students are placed on a direct pathway toward opportunity and stability.
When their students joined us on the mountain, that spirit of determination and curiosity came with them. They encouraged one another, laughed through the falls, and kept getting back up to try again.
Moments like these remind us that when young people are given space to explore, challenge themselves, and build community, the impact lands far beyond the snow.

“We saw a boost in confidence and a willingness to try new things at the end of the day. Memories were made, trust was gained and we all had a good workout by the end of the day. This activity aligns with our mission because we strongly believe that youth enrichment comes from relationship building, a healthy support system, and meaningful experiences.”

“Once she passed training she had the biggest smile on her face. She said that I should let her know every time we go to the mountain. I love that we can give our students that type of enjoyment.”

For over 50 years, has done what others said couldn’t be done—creating schools that work for students who were told they didn’t belong. Open School East supports students in grades 9–12 across East Multnomah County, partnering with six school districts to meet young people where they are through inclusive classrooms, relationship-based advocacy, and rigorous academics.
A core part of Open School’s approach is exposing students to experiences they wouldn’t otherwise have access to, and we’re proud to partner with them each year. Through , students build confidence by trying something new and challenging, while connecting with coaches and mentors from a wide range of backgrounds.
