Our 2026 Membership Drive ends August 31, and we’re making one last push to grow our Surfrider Portland community!

🌱 Our chapter is powered by volunteers and donations, and your membership helps make our work possible. From our Green Streets program to beach cleanups, advocacy, education, and so much more, we depend on our community to keep showing up for the ocean and the places we love.

Earlier this year, Surfrider celebrated an incredible milestone: our 1,000th coastal victory 👏! That’s 1,000 wins for our ocean, waves, and beaches, and proof that grassroots action works.

BIG NEWS: Drink this Breakside beer and benefit Surfrider Portland 🙌

🌊 A beer that benefits — in more ways than one.

For Beer That Benefits #4, we’re teaming up with the Surfrider Foundation, supporting their work to protect our oceans, waves, and beaches.

The beer? A seriously hop-forward West Coast IPA loaded with Mosaic and Nectaron, with big notes of sweet grapefruit, mango, and tropical fruit. We gave this one an extra-intense dry hop and a few cellar tweaks to turn the fruit and hop character all the way up.⬆️

Join us on Sunday, August 9 (10am-12pm) at Faherty Brand in NW Portland for a special Green Streets Clean Up 🗑️!

After the clean up, stop by the store - 10% of all sales that day will be donated to the Surfrider Portland Chapter! 🙌

A huge thank you to Faherty for giving back to the local community and helping support cleaner beaches, healthier waterways, and a stronger coast. We hope to see you there!
