Last night was our 2nd annual long table dinner in Portland — and Mother Nature had other plans.
We usually take this one outside, but the rain had us pivoting indoors this year. Didn't matter one bit. This dinner has always been about activating Old Town — getting people excited to come toward this part of Portland to support it, not away from it. And last night proved that's exactly what happens when you give people a reason to show up: a full room, good food, real conversation, and a table of people choosing this neighborhood.
