With a fully stocked non-profit pet supply store and a knowledgeable and supportive staff trained in the art of “pet matchmaking” adopting a pet through the Pixie Project feels more like a personalized dating service than your mom’s blind date set up. The Pixie Project also serves a unique support function working tirelessly to connect pet owners with the resources they need to keep their pets with them.

Are you in need of some virtue? Cause we can certainly help you to attain a little Prudence! This precious lady is aptly named, for she is cautious, wise, and knowledgeable…she is also very sweet! Prudence is full of purrs and she absolutely adores being brushed. She is very good at setting her boundaries, so we reccomend her for a home with only older children – who can read her cues and respect her preferences. Prudence is about 6 years old, and we are unsure of how she feels about other cat or dog companions. But who care about any of that anyway…just look at that face!

Pisco Sour and Pimms are a lovely bonded pair of 9 year old brothers who have spent their entire lives with each other, and would like to continue doing so in their next home. They are a quiet pair, who enjoy the company of people, but are not interested in any other cats – except for each other! This 3 ½-year-old mixed breed boy is pure sunshine in dog form. If you’re looking for a playful, happy-go-lucky companion, Marlin is your guy. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a pup with a more fun-loving spirit!

With his fit, slender build, Marlin is always ready for action lives for playtime and brings a joyful energy to everything he does. Whether it’s romping around with his dog friends or entertaining himself, he’s always ready for a good time. We’d like you to meet Cotton Sandy, even though she looks a bit more like a cotton ball. This all white little floof is quite the sweetheart. Cotton Sandy is just under a year old and is ever so striking. She likes to tuck away in her cavernous bed but willing comes out to accept any pets and nuzzles. She did live with one cat previously but seems to be very picky on the felines she deems worthy.

It’s time to “hop on over” and meet lil’ Lillypad!

Lillypad is an adorable 7 year old female cat, with a special little secret you’ll just have to come see for yourself to discover! Hint: How many toes do cats usually have?

Lillypad enjoys meeting new people, and making new friends. She enjoys exploring new places, but is also quite happy when she finds a cozy little spot to relax. She can be a bit dominant with other kitties, so we do recommend her for a solo kitty home – but she can coexist with respectful dog friends!

From a former foster: “She is brave and adventurous, uses the litterbox like a pro, and loves head scratches! Lillypad continues to be more and more affectionate as time goes by. She’s taken to sleeping at our feet at night and climbing up on me first thing in the morning and purring hello. She’s still always finding new spots to perch to watch birds and squirrels. Also, she has begun sleeping under our covers, what a cutie!”

Here he comes – its Tobi!!! Please meet Tiny Tobi, our 2 year old, 7 pound little man. That’s right, he is fully grown, and still he looks like THAT. You want an eternal kitten? You found one.

Tobi is a spunky little guy, with lots of energy. Thus, we recommend a home for him that can provide a lot of stimulation to keep him busy, and someone who can give him all the attention he desires and deserves. Once he has settled (down) into a home, he is a master biscuit maker and a champion of purrs and sweetness! His current foster even reports that he is a cuddlebug in bed!

From one of his previous fosters: “Tobi is a good-natured and amusing little companion, always at the door to welcome you home, happy to snuggle up next to you watching TV or reading, and peacefully sleeping through the night at the foot of your bed. Once he feels at home he’s got lots to say, purring and chattering as he sticks close by your side. He likes to amuse himself watching birds out the windows and batting his toys under furniture so he can retrieve them later.”

Looking for a Harold to your Maude? Or perhaps just a hunk to your home? This hefty (18 lbs) handsome (10/10) guy is looking to charm his way into your heart and very possibly your lap as well. Harold is distinguished gentleman around 10 years old. He resided with one other cat previously and is slowly warming up here at Pixie. He likes slow introductions but once you’ve passed his approval a head nuzzle will likely follow.
