Wednesday Night Fast Ride still going strong

09/18/2026

Hi PVC Bike Club Members and Guests,

Get your bikes ready! It looks like the rain will hold off until the rides end so the Fondo Rides are on.

Unfortunately the event after party is cancelled. We had to make a decision today to get the necessary food and tables and with the rain starting right after the rides got back we made the call to cancel the after party.

Here is the event schedule and ride routes.

Spurwink Road Phase 2 Begins March 23rd

Road work begins on Spurwink Road for Phase 2 of the improvement project on Monday, March 23. It is anticipated to be complete by the end of June. The project will be on Spurwink Road from Pleasant Hill Road to the Cape Elizabeth town line. Phase 1, from Pleasant Hill Road to Ocean Avenue, was completed in 2023.

The scope of this project includes a road realignment, and the addition and improvement of pedestrian and bicycle amenities. It will also address the dangerous curves and intersections to the greatest extent possible, as well as improve road surface and drainage issues.

Please be aware and anticipate potential delays.
