✨YCP Portland has been soaking up the last days of summer. September was an eventful month full of community, faith and fun. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us! We had a fantastic Executive Speaker Series event hosted at St. Pius X Catholic Church, met up with a few YCP Seattle members for the Oktoberfest weekend and had our annual Bocce Ball Tournament with the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon.

Thank you to our executive speaker, Gary Hanifan, for a wonderful evening sharing his life and wisdom with us, and St. Pius X for being our hosts. We appreciate you taking the time to answer all of our questions and encouraging us to reflect on how our faith guides us in how we lead, work and serve others. Thank you to the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon for hosting another lively bocce ball tournament this year. It was a beautiful day with friendly-spirited competition. Also, congratulations to this year's tournament champion is Eileen!!! 🥇🏆 October is just around the corner so keep an eye out for all the events we have going on this fall.

Thank you for saying YES. 💙💛
As YCP Portland begins a new chapter, we want to recognize eight outgoing leaders who have generously given their time, talents, and faith to serving Portland's Catholic young adult community.

Behind every Happy Hour, retreat, speaker event, panel discussion, Mass, new friendship, and welcoming conversation are volunteers who said yes to building something bigger than themselves.

Today, we give thanks for:
Eileen Ennis — VP & Director of Membership | 2 Years
Marie Adams — VP & Co-Director of Outreach | 3 Years
Tyler Britsch — Director of Finance | 5 Years
Maria Shim — Co-Director of Outreach | 3 Years
Dylan Encarnacion — Director of Marketing | 3 Years
Hudson Poissant — Director of Technology | 3 Years
Katie Hill — Director of Operations | 3 Years
Ryan Po***ck — Assistant Director of Evangelization | 1 Year

To each of you: thank you for answering the call to serve. Thank you for the planning meetings, prayers, conversations, late nights, and countless moments behind the scenes that helped make YCP Portland a place where young adults can grow in faith, build friendships, and find community.

As your time on the Leadership Team comes to a close, we pray that God continues to guide you in whatever He calls you to next.
Your leadership may be ending, but the fruits of your service remain.
Please join us in thanking our outgoing leaders! 🙏
