SWEL had the honor of representing at the Waves for Wellness event, at Paséa Hotel & Spa, in conjunction with Su***de Prevention Month, along with other amazing organizations and companies.
We’re stoked to be a part of an awesome event, that highlights an important month and cause.
Shoutout to the raddest hotel in Huntington Beach, Pasea Hotel, for the invite!
And thanks to our SWEL Ambassadors for coming out to help support the cause!

Surfing, followed by an epic sunset boat ride and phenomenal dinner provided by Huntington Beach Fire Dept..

We want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Huntington Beach Fire Dept., HBFD Marine Safety Divison, 42 Foundation, U.S. Coast Guard Sector Los Angeles-Long Beach Chief Petty Officers Association, and all of our SWEL volunteers, surf coaches, ambassadors, and team riders for all the selfless support all weekend long.

2026 Event Photodump: Day 2️⃣
What a day! Our group of Firefighters from Kansas City and San Diego, and our SWEL Ambassadors, surf coaches, and team riders were putting on a show, on some small but challenging fun waves!
An epic turn out, and an epic day, filled with sun, sand, surfing, and hanging with our nations heroes.
A big THANK YOU to all the volunteers, surf coaches, and the USCG LA/Long Beach Chief Petty Officer Association for cooking up another incredible beach lunch for all our participants and SWEL family.
And thanks as always to Huntington Beach Fire Dept. HBFD Marine Safety Divison and City of Huntington Beach for doing a stellar job hosting, hanging, and watching over our event.

2026 Event Photodump: Day 1️⃣
We were honored and stoked to host a group of Firefighters from Kansas City and San Diego this weekend.
What better way to start the weekend than with a dip in the Pacific Ocean, a beach stretch, yoga, a surf check, some sunshine, and beachhouse grillin’ and chillin’.
And a big THANK YOU to Nixon for generously donating some epic watches, to style out our nation’s heroes!

Active Duty Military and Veterans, register now to compete in this years Military Surf Contest on Camp Pendleton, while competitor spots are still available for certain divisions.
