Join us on Thursday, June 11 at 8:30 PM at Parkway Theater for a special screening of George A. Romero's The Amusement Park.

To celebrate, the George A. Romero Foundation has teamed up with Abjuration Brewing to debut a wickedly delicious new beer inspired by the nostalgic sights, smells, and flavors of classic amusement parks like West View Park. The result? A Strawberry Funnel Cake Sour, a delightfully twisted tribute to the Master of Horror himself!

Following the film, stick around for a special Q&A with Ryan Carr and Jeff Whitehead as they discuss the film's legacy, its enduring relevance, and Romero's lasting impact on horror cinema.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to experience one of Romero's most haunting and thought-provoking works on the big screen and raise a glass to his legacy.

Additional screenings on June 13 at 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM, and 7:00 PM.

Heather Langenkamp, widely known for her role as Nancy Thompson in the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise gives filmmakers a tip in this video.

She helped define what it means to be a true “final girl”, bringing strength, intelligence, and heart to a character that still resonates with generations.

Beyond Elm Street, her contributions to projects like The Demolitionist and I Am Nancy, show the depth of her creativity both in front of and behind the camera.

Let's continue celebrating !

Check out this Night of the Living Dead inspired artwork from Lindsay Martland!

Lindsay Martland grew up watching/reading horror in the 80's when she was likely a bit too young. She was also a really anxious, paranoid kid and could see horror pretty much everywhere. Her thought process easily aligned with the "what if?"'s involved in forming a scary story. As an adult, she still loves the creativity in monster making, that feeling of the calm before the storm, and anticipating unexpected twists.

Horror imagery can be bold and striking (like bright red lettering on a black title screen), or it can quietly sneak up on you (a shambling zombie, a soft pencil sketch...) She digs both! When she sees/watches/reads horror, she live for the simple reaction of "woah".

From xenomorph nightmares to zombie apocalypses, Gale Anne Hurd has been shaping horror for decades.

She helped bring us genre-defining terror with The Terminator and Aliens, blending sci-fi and horror into iconic cinematic experiences. And she didn’t stop there. Her producing credits stretch across cult horror favorites like Tremors, psychological thrillers like Raising Cain, and sci-fi horror like Virus.

On TV, she changed the game as executive producer of The Walking Dead, one of the most influential horror series ever, bringing zombies back into the cultural spotlight.

And her love for horror keeps evolving, from cult curiosities like Bad Dreams to modern slashers like Hell Fest.

A true pioneer, a genre architect, and a powerhouse producer, Gale Anne Hurd didn’t just contribute to horror… she helped build it.
