Union Project Union Project is a community ceramics center presenting classes and events in a fun and welcoming environment.

We offer more than 100 clay programs throughout the year to provide education to people of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. Union Project is your community arts center - strengthening the stability of Pittsburgh's neighborhoods and residents. The historic building, located at the intersection of Stanton and Negley Avenues, provides an affordable, safe, and welcoming home to community build

ers, creative entrepreneurs, artists, nonprofits, and small businesses. Together with the support of community members, Union Project has made space for tens of thousands of diverse people to connect, create, and celebrate. Starting February 3, 2017, we are open on:
Tuesdays 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Wednesdays 9:00 am - 9:00 pm
Thursdays 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Monday & Friday open for events and programs as needed. Saturdays, and Sunday Open for public events and programs only.

Teaching Artist has a show, Modern Rituals, coming up at Sweetwater from June 4-July 16.

Modern Rituals is the culmination of a three-month ceramic residency at Sweetwater Center for the Arts.

These pieces present ceramics as memory, as rupture, as ritual. Made in the shadow of ongoing violence in Palestine and drawing from Jewish papercutting traditions, this work wrestles with questions of faith and complicity.
