Meet Nate ✈

Nate recently graduated high school and hopes to work in aviation one day. We found him the perfect mentor in Jason, a Virginia-based aircraft mechanic that has worked on all sides of the airplane, including in the cockpit. Each call, Nate asks questions about the various projects that Jason finds himself working on. As part of Nate’s activity kit money set aside, we purchased a subscription to a national aviation magazine to help lead conversations and shed a light on many different aspects of the industry. Nate and Jason work great together, and it’s exciting to see Nate pursue a career that he is so passionate about.

It’s Week! 💙

A special time to shine a light on the adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer community and the unique challenges they face.

Each year, more than 85,000 young people ages 15-39 are diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. Behind every number is a friend, partner, student, parent., all learning to navigate treatment, survivorship, careers, and relationships during these pivotal years.

Join Connecting Champions, Stupid Cancer, and other amazing groups in ending isolation and making cancer suck less for AYAs everywhere. Join us this week in raising awareness, sharing resources, and amplifying the voices of AYA community members.
