For 23 years, the AMD3 Foundation has worked to improve bone and joint health and wellness through education, prevention, screenings and improved access to care right here in Western PA.
Through our free 5 point screenings, community outreach, and educational initiatives, we help individuals identify potential bone and joint health concerns earlier, connect with valuable resources, and take steps toward healthier, more active lives.
Over the past two years, we have served more than 1,000 community members and over 175 local outreach events.
We are excited to announce that in 2026, we will be launching our 5-point screenings abroad during our upcoming annual Operation Walk trip to Antigua, Guatemala, in September bringing wellness and prevention education to their families and community.

As we continue celebrating the 23rd year anniversary of the AMD3 Foundation, we’re highlighting the impact of our work with Operation Walk Pittsburgh.
Through 15 trips to Guatemala, Cuba, Honduras, and Panama, the AMD3 Foundation has helped provide free joint replacement surgery to those in need, along with education, resources, and hope to individuals who otherwise may not have had access to these services.
To date, these efforts have impacted 853 patients. Behind every number is an individual who regained mobility, improved their quality of life, and returned to the activities that matter most to them.
Thank you to everyone who has helped us extend our mission across borders and around the world.

Please join us in welcoming Cameron to the AMD3 Foundation team as our new Project Coordinator! 🎉

Cameron brings a strong background in medical science and a passion for community engagement. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology with high honors from Lincoln University of Pennsylvania, the nation’s first HBCU. He also received his Master’s in Medical Science from the University of Pittsburgh.

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Cameron is passionate about building meaningful relationships, collaborating with others, and making a positive impact through service.
Outside of work, he enjoys staying active with fitness and outdoor activities, cheering on the Baltimore Ravens 🏈, and spending time with family and friends.

We’re excited to have him on the team—welcome, Cameron! 👏
