Get ready for another exciting weekend of games! ⚽️💙

As Coach Attila says, a goalkeeper is one of the most important players on the team. Their role goes far beyond protecting the goal. A great goalkeeper is also a confident and trusted field player who can make an impact anywhere on the field.

Last weekend, our U10 Wave put this philosophy into action during a strong performance against Bedford at home at Pier 40, where their very own goalkeeper scored a goal!

A great reminder that no player is limited by their position, and every player has the opportunity to make a difference!

The U10 Wave team had a great practice on Friday night at Pier 40. Our players really lit up the field, set against a vibrant, fiery-red and orange sunset across the skyline just ahead of the approaching nor’easter.

⚽️ Bringing that Gotham energy to Brooklyn! 🏙️✨

Our amazing group of girls repped Gotham Girls FC at the Just Ball Unity Cup this weekend with Coach EJ leading the way! 🏆 We love hosting the Just Ball program at PS184M, and seeing the team out on the pitch showcasing their creativity, teamwork, and passion was the absolute best end-of-season celebration.

From the matches to the community festivities (and custom bag-making!), it was a weekend full of pure joy, free play, and no barriers. So proud of these girls and this community! 🖤⚽️

U12 Courage had a huge weekend with a 2-1 win at Randall’s Island followed by an incredible 4-2 win over Force FC. Despite missing a number of injured players, the team battled through brutal heat and physical play with nonstop effort from start to finish. Great passing,
teamwork, and determination were on display all weekend. team
