Early Monday morning, Vincent Siquieros and Cameron Capara were murdered outside Venture-N, a neighborhood gay bar in Tucson, Arizona. Tucson police are currently investigating the incident as a hate crime, and authorities report the suspect was carrying a list of LGBTQIA+ businesses.

Our bars, clubs, and local gathering spots are meant to be safe spaces for our community. Tragedies like this are a painful reminder that too often, they are not.

As this year marks the 10th anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shooting, we are once again forced to confront a horrific reality: anti-LGBTQIA+ violence remains a severe and rising threat in America.

Our hearts break for the loved ones of Vincent and Cameron.

NYC stands in solidarity with the city of Tucson and the entire LGBTQIA+ community.

We invite you to join us for our Fall 2026 Corporate Summit on Thursday, October 22nd, 2026 from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. hosted by Deutsche Bank

Join LGBTQIA+ leaders from a wide range of sectors for an afternoon of engaging panel discussions, networking, and promoting LGBTQIA+ inclusivity - both in our workplaces and in our communities.

For the first time, attendance is free! Suggested donations are welcomed and appreciated to support NYC Pride’s year-round programs for local LGBTQ+ communities.

This year, our theme, “For All of Us,” references the famous quote attributed to Marsha: “There is no pride for some of us without liberation for all of us.”

Pride would not be what it is today without the contributions of Marsha and other Trans and non-binary people of color.

Then you won’t want to miss Waack to the Future: Waack X K-Pop—New York City’s premier international Waacking festival!
Born in the Black and LGBTQ+ clubs of 1970s Los Angeles, Waacking is a dance style rooted in freedom, self-expression, resilience, and joy. This year’s festival celebrates its global evolution, bringing together world-renowned artists for an unforgettable fusion of Waacking and K-Pop.

Experience electrifying dance battles, breathtaking performances, a live choreography contest, international guest artists, music by DJ Prince Wizzard, and a weekend of workshops with some of the world’s leading Waacking dancers.

Created by Princess Lockerooo—internationally acclaimed choreographer, educator, and one of the leading figures preserving the history and legacy of Waacking. Her work includes collaborations with Madonna, So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing with the Stars, and more.
