Applications for WEALF’s first cohort of 2027 are now open; women entrepreneurs in the New York area, this is your opportunity to start off the New Year with the capital and support needed to grow your business. WEALF is a dedicated funding partner offering one-time interest-free loans of up to $10,000 with follow-up loans at low interest rates. We know it takes more than money to succeed, and along with the loan, you will receive one-on-one mentoring from a professional businesswoman, support from a network of women business owners like you, along with free educational courses and seminars business essentials. WEALF loans are granted without collateral or a guarantor, requirements of a traditional loan program. To qualify your business must have been generating revenues for six months or more but need not be profitable. With the passing of Gloria Steinem, many of us at the Women’s Enterprise Action Leadership Fund (WEALF) are reflecting with deep gratitude on her extraordinary life and legacy, and the impact it has had on our lives. Gloria, was a trailblazer for women’s rights and a lifelong advocate for breaking down the barriers that have prevented women from achieving equality, advancing professionally, and leading with purpose. Her call to reshape systems so women can thrive remains as powerful and relevant today as ever. It reminds us that one person can make a difference and we all have a stake in the future. Gloria Steinem helped change the conversation about what women deserve and what women are capable of achieving. At WEALF, we honor her legacy by continuing the work of creating greater access, opportunity, and economic independence for women.
Her vision continues. Her work continues. And so does ours.

Stewart names the company’s fava bean based, multi-purpose waffle and pancake mix as part of the bean bonanza trend: products using beans in place of flour.
