Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-N.Y.) just bailed-out Mayor Zohran K. Mamdani (DSA-New York City) with $1,5 billion in taxpayer money from Albany to City Hall. Whilst we have yet to know where that money is slotted to go (or if it's being treated like a giant political slush fund), it's a political disgrace that she's not putting any strings attached to this money to ensure NYCHA and public housing residents get treated equally before the law.

ICYMI : Our protest against Erik Bottcher was seen by over 17,000 users of the Citizen app. Chelsea residents most concerned with quality of life issues tuned in to see NYCHA public housing residents and activists fight to save public housing from RAD/PACT privatisation and demolition. on Nov. 4 !

Demonstrators in Chelsea are holding signs that read “Stop RAD/PACT,” “No Demolition,” and “Save Section 9.” The group is voicing opposition to housing redevelopment plans as the protest continues near W 24th St.
