講者簡介：周芷萱-女性主義者、獨派、任陳文成基金會董事。曾選過舉、做過倡議，在體制內外持續跟保守派戰鬥。現就讀紐約廚藝學院（Ｘ）紐約市立大學（Ｏ）專攻性別研究。

請立即簽署連署書，敦促您的眾議員支持跨黨派的《豪豬法案》（PORCUPINE Act, H.R. 7146），以加速美國對台軍售之交付流程。面對目前高達 320 億美元的美國對台軍售積壓，以及來自中國日益加劇的軍事壓力 ，美國國會必須立即採取行動，確保台灣具備必要的自我防衛能力，以有效嚇阻中國侵略，並維護印太地區的和平與穩定。

《豪豬法案》將簡化並加速對台軍售流程，在關鍵時刻強化可信嚇阻。在 FAPA 於 2025 年持續倡議下，該法案的參議院版本（S. 1744）已於去年 12 月無異議通過。目前，眾議院版本正由眾議院外交委員會審議。您的即時參與對於延續這股立法動能至關重要！

什麼是《豪豬法案》？

《豪豬法案》（PORCUPINE Act）全名為「為區域同伴提供險惡環境下的升級保護法案」（Providing Our Regional Companions Upgraded Protection in Nefarious Environments Act）。該法案在美國《武器出口管制法》架構下，將台灣指定為「北約+」（NATO-Plus） 夥伴，與日本、南韓及澳洲等美國在印太地區的關鍵盟友並列。此一指定將縮短國會通知期，並提高觸發國會審查國防銷售的金額門檻，有效減少行政延宕並加快關鍵防衛能力的交付。

該法案還尋求建立一套加速第三方轉移的機制，允許北約及其他「北約+」國家將美製防衛裝備轉移至台灣，以確保關鍵防衛能力能及時交付至台灣。

One Last Look — Closing Party of Between Shores: Reimagining Formosa 🎉

Join us for One Last Look — a joyful farewell as we close Between Shores: Reimagining Formosa, the Formosan Association for Public Affairs (FAPA)’s first-ever group exhibition, featuring 18 brilliant Taiwanese and Taiwanese American artists.
We’re sending it off with live performances, good vibes, and a final walk through the show with the community that made it all happen.

🎭 3:30 PM — Dowsing Stylus by Hui-Ying Tsai
Experience an intimate, interactive performance led by artist Hui-Ying Tsai. Inspired by Fuji (扶乩), a traditional Taiwanese spiritual practice, Dowsing Stylus (尋龍筆) invites you to co-create spontaneous, subconscious markings alongside the artist. It’s a ritual of presence, intuition, and connection beyond words — crossing cultures and inviting collective discovery.

🎵 4:00 PM — Live Set by Edelyn Huang
Edelyn Huang is a pianist, composer, and producer whose music exists at the intersection of jazz fusion, hip-hop/soul, gospel, fusion, electronic improvisation, and Taiwanese Indigenous influences. Based in both New York and Taiwan, she is an active performer, collaborator, and bandleader, constantly pushing the boundaries of sound and identity. Whether leading her own projects or contributing as a sideman, her work embodies a seamless fusion of tradition and innovation, deeply rooted in both personal and cultural narratives.

Explore the memory and meaning behind color through a hands-on painting experience led by artist Calvin Tsai. In this workshop, you’ll experiment with layering and mixing colors to create your own expressive tote bag—guided by Calvin’s philosophy that “colors have their own memories.”

Drawing from his art series Colour’s Memories, Calvin invites participants to reflect on how colors reveal what’s beneath the surface—transforming painting into storytelling.

All materials will be provided. No prior art experience needed—just curiosity and a love for color.

About the Artist:
Calvin Tsai is a Taiwanese American artist based in New York. His practice spans painting, installation, and material experimentation. He holds a BA in Communications Design from Shih Chien University and an MA in Fine Art from The Cass, London Metropolitan University. His ongoing series Color as Masks explores memory and transformation through layered compositions and peelable “color sheets.”

Touching Computers is an one-hour hands-on workshop that teaches participants to interweave the physical and digital worlds and infuse personal artifacts with digital memory. Participants are encouraged to bring objects and media that are meaningful to their different heritages and mix them to create hybrid objects that reflect their own diverse history.

As Taiwanese Americans, we often find ourselves navigating between two different cultural systems and everyday technologies. This workshop begins on the daily use of NFC, such as the EasyCard (悠遊卡) in Taiwan and the MetroCard in the U.S., and then begin reimagining how NFC can be reshaped as a poetic, creative medium. One that enables new rituals, new interfaces, and new modes of remembering. Participants will prototype objects that embody this blending, grounding their cultural narratives both digitally and physically.

Step into a world of color, texture, and story! Join artist Ingrid (Yi-Chen Lu) for a live hands-on workshop where you’ll create your very own ribbon collage inspired by her work Long Forms. These pieces weave together satin ribbons, scribbled notes, wrapping paper, sequins, and tiny treasures—each one a memory map from Taiwan’s bustling streets and the enchanting Ribbon Museum in Lukang.

You’ll mix, sew, and glue a range of materials to craft your own miniature landscape or wall-ready pattern. Think of it as a visual journal—part textile, part treasure box. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity and love for beauty in unexpected places.
