THOUGHT
Faith is the courage to walk into a room you've never seen, trusting God already turned on the lights.

CHALLENGE
Faith does not always guide your every step, but your faith gives you confidence to take the next step, knowing God is always by your side. Ask God to help you to seek ways to strengthen your faith through both your prayers and your actions, and thank Him for lighting your way.

REFERENCE
For we walk by faith, not by sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7

THOUGHT
There's so much power in believing that everything will work out even when you don't know how or when. You just believe it will.

CHALLENGE
Let your faith be your guide. Strengthen it daily by loving and trusting in God and by seeing His goodness in everything around you. You'll begin seeing things working out that you may not have noticed had you not been looking. Count your blessings and give thanks to God for His love.

REFERENCE
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28

THOUGHT
Our God is faithful ... even when we don't measure up.

CHALLENGE
If we are honest with ourselves, we never measure up to God's perfect standard. No one does. Fortunately, we have an understanding and forgiving God. Acknowledge your sins and strive to do better. And finally, thank God for his unending grace.

REFERENCE
If we acknowledge our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from every wrongdoing.
1 John 1:9

THOUGHT
The more bitter our enemy's hatred, the greater their need for love.

CHALLENGE
Jesus taught us that the greatest commandments are to love God and love our neighbor regardless of who they are or how they treat us. Love conquers all, even the feud with our enemies. Think of someone with whom you are angry and reach out to them. First, pray that both of your hearts will be softened and that you can reconcile the relationship.

REFERENCE
You have heard that it was said, "You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy; But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you,"
Matthew 5:43-44

THOUGHT
When you learn to love God better than your earthly dearest, you will love your earthly dearest better than you do now.

CHALLENGE
Jesus intentionally commanded us to love God and to love each other because it is impossible to fully do one without the other. As you pray today, ask God to strengthen your love for Him to be as strong as the love He showed us by giving up his Son so that we could live with God eternally. Channel that perfect and unconditional love to those you love.

REFERENCE
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16

THOUGHT
God doesn't love you if you change, He loves you so you can change.

CHALLENGE
If the most important person in your world had your back, what changes would you make? News Flash: HE DOES, and His love is beyond your comprehension. Make a change that will bring you closer to Him.

REFERENCE
Do not fear: I am with you; do not be anxious: I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.
Isaiah 41:10

THOUGHT
Remember, today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.

CHALLENGE
Learn from the past. Plan for the future. But don't dwell on either. The Bible teaches us not to be anxious for tomorrow but instead to turn to God in prayer. Replace anxiety with faith today.

REFERENCE
Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

THOUGHT
The human is not the seeker, rather the one sought by God.

CHALLENGE
In the parable of the Good Shepard, Jesus teaches us that He opens the gate, but He has to call to the sheep to come through the gate. If He didn't call them, they would stay where they are and graze. Today, take some quiet time to listen for Christ's voice and follow Him. He is seeking you. Don't be content to stay in the same pasture where you are currently grazing.

REFERENCE
The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.
John 10:3-4

THOUGHT
In the busiest moments of your day today, stop and thank God for giving you the precious, free gift of His Son.

CHALLENGE
Salvation is a free gift from God. You just have to accept it and accept Him. Take a moment to appreciate the enormity of that gift. Show your gratitude by living a life pleasing to God.

REFERENCE
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from you; it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so no one may boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9

THOUGHT
Maybe Jesus didn't come to prove he was God, he came to teach us how to be human.

CHALLENGE
Jesus performed miracles to show us He was God in human form, but those acts were less about proving He was God, and more validating that his words and teachings are of God. As God said at the transfiguration, "Listen to Him." Listen to Him today by following His simplest teaching; love God and love your neighbors. Prove that you are a disciple of Christ by showing His love to others.

REFERENCE
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
John 13:34-35
