We had a full house tonight for the lecture kicking off Dr. Welton’s experimental archaeology workshop. Construction of the furnace continues tomorrow and metal will emerge on Weds! Calling all experimental archaeology enthusiasts! On April 13-15, UofL and the AIA will be hosting an interactive bloomery smelting workshop with Dr. Andrew Welton.
