Join us on the course for the USA Cares Golf Tournament, held in memory of Billy Minor, a veteran and longtime champion who spent his time showing up for others, and who always found his way back to the golf course.

We're playing in his honor while raising funds to support veterans, service members and their families.

Our hearts are with the families, fellow service members and the Fort Hood community following the loss of two U.S. Army soldiers in an Apache helicopter crash near Salado, Texas during a training flight.

💜 Honoring Sacrifice on Purple Heart Day 💜

Today, on National Purple Heart Day, we honor those who have been wounded or killed in combat. These service members did not ask for recognition but received one of the most solemn symbols of military sacrifice: the Purple Heart.

First established in 1782 by George Washington as the Badge of Military Merit, the Purple Heart is our nation’s oldest military award. Since then, nearly 1.9 million have been awarded. Each one tells a story of service, loss and sacrifice.

We honor those who have given so much in service to us all.

As of July, USA Cares has distributed more than $1,653,707 in emergency financial assistance to and in need.

That support has reached more than 850 families and 1,000 children this year, and helped hundreds keep their homes. Behind every one of those numbers is a family that got to stay put, keep the lights on and find steady ground again.
