We’re starting our 25th Anniversary album with some photos from Saturday’s Teacher Reunion at Hockensmith Barn.

It was so much fun seeing teachers from across the years back together, meeting everyone’s families, catching up, and just enjoying a beautiful evening together.

What a weekend! 💙

We somehow ended 25 years of Teach Kentucky celebrations by accidentally arranging ourselves into the shape of Kentucky. We couldn’t have planned that better if we tried.

Friday night, we celebrated Rowan’s retirement and his remarkable 25-year legacy with partners, supporters, educators, and friends. It was an inspiring evening filled with stories, laughter, memories, and so much gratitude.

Then Saturday, we got to have some FUN.

Our Teach Kentucky Reunion brought together educators from nearly every one of our 25 cohorts, from some of our earliest TKY teachers to members of our brand-new Georgetown cohort. And over the years, those cohorts have grown into families! We spent the evening enjoying BBQ, live music, games, and a whole lot of reconnecting.

Seeing 25 years of Teach Kentucky educators together was pretty special.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us and helped make this weekend so memorable.

And we’re not done sharing! Stay tuned for lots more photos this week, and please keep sharing yours with us, too. We want to see them all!

🍎 It's one of our favorite days of the year—back-to-school!

The Teach Kentucky team and a few members of our 2026 cohort recently started sharing old childhood photos, and we have to admit... these were some pretty adorable kids. Now they're all grown up and welcoming students into their own classrooms.

One of our favorite traditions is seeing all of our Teach Kentucky teachers on their first day back in the classroom. Whether you're starting your 1st year or your 21st year teaching, the beginning of a new school year is always worth celebrating.

Last night, the Jefferson County Board of Education recognized Teach Kentucky founder Rowan Claypool for 25 years of service and his lasting impact on public education.

For 25 years, Teach Kentucky and JCPS have partnered to recruit and support outstanding educators. More than 600 teachers have launched their careers through Teach Kentucky, and in just a few weeks, over 200 will be serving students in JCPS classrooms.

Pictured with Rowan is JCPS Superintendent Dr. Brian Yearwood, whose leadership continues the district's long-standing partnership with Teach Kentucky.

We were proud to have alumni, members of our newest cohort, staff, board members, and program friends there to celebrate this well-deserved recognition. Thank you, JCPS, for your continued partnership and support of Kentucky's educators. 💙🍎
