Unbridled Ukraine Ministry Schedule
August 10-23, 2023:

• Aug 10: Arrive in Krakow, Poland for drive to Irpin, Ukraine with Vasyl Ostryi

• August 11-14: Irpin Bible Church (IBC), Irpin, Ukraine

• August 15-19: Leader Retreat for Volunteer Centers (60-70) in safe, restful area in Carpathian Mountains

• August 20-24: Leader Retreat - Center for Youth Ministry (CYM) Ukraine (30-40)
- Pastors / Professors of Youth Ministry from all across Ukraine

• August 24-28: Irpin, Ukraine
o Meet with IBC Pastors
o Work with IBC Military Chaplains meeting with Ukrainian military.

• August 31: Depart Krakow, Poland for USA

OUR BEGINNING:

In 2021, we officially launched Unbridled Skies as a nonprofit, 501c(3) organization to provide leadership development and theological education programs in the local church worldwide. We also assist with humanitarian efforts when those efforts will enable our work in those regions to continue and prosper.

Many have asked how Unbridled Skies began.
The vision for Unbridled Skies began over two decades ago!

In 1997 Nat Millican (Unbridled Skies, Executive Director) began the journey as a volunteer in the Youth Ministry mentoring young men. Jimmy Scroggins was the Youth Minister at Highview Baptist Church, Louisville, KY under the leadership of the Senior Pastor, Dr Kevin Ezell. As time went on, Jimmy and Nat would add young men to the mentoring journey. As a result, since 1997, Nat has personally walked alongside over 300 young men as they’ve launched into leadership roles in churches around the globe.

Nat continued to walk with these young men as they deployed and served in churches around the world. A recurrent theme of feedback from these young pastors was that their pastoral teams and lay leaders needed leadership training – “Nat, can you come do for our team what we did together?” As we brainstormed and defined this need in the local church, we realized that, with some cultural adaptation, our 10 Leadership Principles of Becoming a Well-Balanced Leader curriculum could be used worldwide.

Our Name: UNBRIDLED SKIES.
In 2004, Kentucky adopted “UNBRIDLED SPIRIT” as the state’s slogan to represent a state - signifying as a thoroughbred horse, Kentucky is unrestrained, uninhibited, and unstoppable in its quest for excellence. We wanted to capture this unbridled, unstoppable spirit as we sought to help develop effective leaders in the local church around the world. Our Unbridled Skies company became a meaningful continuation of that thought. Our work to serve local church pastors around the world reminds us that the “Impossible is Nothing to God.” And sometimes He uses the "lowliest of men and women" so that He might receive all the Praise and Glory!
