Founded in 2018 by Cammie Wolf Rice in memory of her son, Christopher, CWC Alliance is a 501(c)(3) non-profit on a mission to prevent opioid misuse and addiction before it begins. In addition to our extensive advocacy efforts, our evidence-based programs provide education, mental wellness skills training, and pain management strategies directly to inpatient and outpatients experiencing a health cr

Education, empathy, and early support can change the course of a patient’s recovery. Life Care Specialists help identify warning signs that are often overlooked, from unmanaged pain and isolation to untreated trauma and lack of education around opioids.
