The Atlanta & North Georgia Building Trades and our affiliates are proud to endorse Tim Echols for Public Service Commissioner. Tim has proven his dedication to working on behalf of the rate payers of Georgia while also supporting organized labor, Plant Vogtle completion, and diversity in fuel for power plants. We know Tim will work to protect working families jobs and ensure Georgia has sufficient power infrastructure moving forward.

Check out these awesome photos from the Welding Training our Business Manager, Randy Beall helped to lead for the Georgia Building Trades Academy YouthBuild Program! The GABTA YouthBuild pre-apprenticeship program helps youth (aged 16-24) gain skills and certifications to prepare for a career in the trades and provides participants with direct entry into one of our affiliate apprenticeships upon completion! 💪🛠

Last Saturday, April 24, 2021, some of our students had the opportunity to come to our Welding Bay for a hands-on training experience. They worked together with Randy Beall, our Executive Director, and Jeremy Fullbright, our Construction Manager, to learn about how to safely and effectively work with the welding bays! Welding is an experience that is unique to our program, and we are so happy to be able to teach our students such a valuable skill! 💪🛠
