We’ve recently been spending some time behind the camera, refreshing and revamping our When Dreams Change course. 💙

When Dreams Change gives parents and carers of children with additional needs space to reflect on their experiences, explore emotions that aren’t always easy to talk about, and connect with others who understand.

We’re looking forward to sharing the refreshed course and seeing more parents and carers access this support soon.

The Grand Plan.

A thousand lives changed. Help us change a thousand more.

Since launching in 2017, Growing Hope King’s Cross have supported more than 1,000 children and young people with additional needs.

Some of the first children we saw are now taking their GCSEs and A Levels. We’ve seen children grow in confidence, become more independent and achieve things their families once thought impossible.

We don’t want to stop here. We want to reach the next thousand.

Continuing this work relies on the generosity of people who believe that every child should have the opportunity to thrive. Growing Hope King’s Cross needs to raise £40,000 to strengthen and secure the clinic for the year ahead.

We're looking for 40 people to take on the challenge of raising £1,000 for Growing Hope King’s Cross. That might mean running a race, organising a quiz, hosting a dinner, asking friends, colleagues and family to get involved, or simply coming up with your own brilliant idea.

And you don't have to be one of the 40 to make a difference. You can join someone's challenge by sponsoring them, sharing their fundraiser or encouraging them along the way.

Together, we can help secure the future of the clinic, continue providing free therapy to children and young people, and help us give hope to the next thousand.

We’re hiring in Sevenoaks!

Growing Hope Sevenoaks is recruiting for a Clinic Manager to lead the launch and development of our new clinic in partnership with Hope Church Sevenoaks.

This part-time role will involve leading the day-to-day running of the clinic, supporting service development and fundraising, and helping to champion accessibility within the partnership church.

We’re looking for someone with therapeutic experience working alongside families of children with additional needs, as well as strong leadership and management skills.

We recently brought together our new Growing Hope Accessibility Trainers for a special Train the Trainers day.

Our new training team will be working with churches across the dioceses involved in Growing Hope’s Church of England accessibility project, helping church communities think practically about how they can become more accessible and welcoming for children, young people and families with additional needs.

It was a brilliant opportunity to learn together, share ideas and prepare for the work ahead.

And if your church isn’t part of one of the project dioceses, we’d still love to support you.

Growing Hope’s wider Church Accessibility Training and Accessibility Awards are available to churches across the UK, helping communities identify barriers, make practical changes and create places where everyone can belong and flourish.

As schools return and new routines begin, the transition into a new term may feel like a big unknown for many children and families.

Predictable routines, familiar journeys, simple choices and small moments of connection may all help the new term feel a little more manageable.
