Hopeful Futures AI 🤖

A few months ago, our young people produced their video for a submission on the Hopeful Futures AI Exhibition. This was then exhibited in Newcastle Central Library!

The project focuses on how AI can help guide more sustainable choices and navigate a path towards a lower carbon future.

NE Roots Shieldfield

Over the last 2 weeks, our young people have been working towards the beginning of our NE Roots Programme. This surrounds the ideas of local heritage and allowed our young people to talk about heritage and what that looks like for them.

This project allows our young people to grow by giving them the tools needed to develop their understanding of podcasting and audio recording.

We’re excited to share that our submission to the Hopeful Futures AI Exhibition “Carbon Compass” has been selected and is now on display at Newcastle Central Library!

The project explores how AI can help guide more sustainable choices and navigate the path toward a lower-carbon future.

🗓 Exhibition Dates: Now until Friday 27th March
📍 Location: Atrium, Ground Floor, Newcastle Central Library
(Entrance on the corner of John Dobson Street, opposite the Laing Art Gallery)

🕒 Opening Hours:
• Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 10am – 5pm
• Thursday: 10am – 7pm
• Saturday: 10am – 2pm

We’d love for you to stop by, explore the exhibition, and check out “Carbon Compass” alongside other inspiring ideas shaping a hopeful future.
