Liz, Jeannette and Lynn became firm friends thanks to their love of dogs 🥰 This trio met as volunteers at Dogs Trust Glasgow three years ago and all share a passion for helping homeless hounds.

Jeannette said: 'Volunteering at Dogs Trust is a pure buzz. I can’t believe three years have passed already. Time flies when you’re having fun with friends.' 💛

Fudge found herself in our care at Dogs Trust Leeds through no fault of her own. She found kennel life confusing but was quickly swept off her paws. In less that two weeks she packed her bags and headed home 💛

Her forever family said:

"After visiting the centre a few times the moment I heard about Fudge I knew she would be perfect for us. She was a nervous girl to start with but after 3 or 4 visits her personality started to shine!

She was brought home to us after 7 visits and within the week she had settled in so well. She’s a playful and cheeky girl who loves nothing more than a cuddle in bed. She takes some time to relax with new people and in new places but it gets better with every visit and has now made lots of new friends."

Opie loves to swim, so one of the amazing volunteers at Dogs Trust Leeds takes him swimming every few weeks just so he can have the time of his life whilst in our care 💦🐶
