Do you remember Grandad Graham from last years Christmas special of Pete Wicks: For Dogs Sake?🐶
We wanted to share some new, wholesome pictures of him thriving in his forever home.

In his episode we saw that he came from a local kennel, rescued by the council from a poor welfare situation. He likely had never been on a lead before.

With some TLC, a dental appointment and lots of fuss from the team at Dogs Trust Basildon and Pete, we saw Graham head off to the Oakfield Oldies in Dogs Trust Shrewsbury before he was then adopted by his forever family.
Here he is with his new partner in crime, Chester!

When a dog is struggling, their behaviour can be a way of telling us that something doesn’t feel safe.

Lola Bear has spent more than 1,300 days in our care, and every one of those days has given our behavioural teams the chance to understand her a little better.

Her dedicated trainers have worked patiently with Lola Bear to help her build confidence, learn new skills and cope better with the situations she finds difficult.

Unfamiliar people, new surroundings and close encounters can still make Lola Bear feel worried, but with the right support she is making huge progress. She has now become fully muzzle trained and is building stronger bonds with the people caring for her and is learning how to finally feel safe.

This vital behavioural work is helping Lola Bear take important steps towards being ready for the right forever home. And it's only possible with your support.
