At just 10 months old, this beautiful girl is full of youthful joy. A wagging tail, bright eyes and a little lean into your hand are all it takes to show you just how much she loves being around people.

She’s equally happy having a little playtime or simply curling up and enjoying your company. Gentle, affectionate and full of charm, Eira is expected to grow into a medium-sized girl.

She can live with other dogs and children following sensible introductions, and she can be tested with cats if required.

🐧💙 PENGUIN IS DESPERATE FOR A HOME 💙🐧

Our gorgeous collie-type boy is still waiting for someone to notice him, and we honestly cannot understand why. 😢

Penguin is such a lovely, friendly boy. He absolutely adores attention, affection and human kindness. 🥰
He has so much love to give and is just waiting for that special person or family to see what we see…

You may remember Chaz. He is nearly 12 years old.

Back in May, Chaz travelled to the UK and, truth be known, we genuinely didn’t know how well he would cope with the journey.

But the team also knew that if we didn’t make that decision and get him out, there was every chance he may not have survived another harsh Romanian winter. 💔

And now look....

What a transformation. 🥹❤️

His wonderful adopter said:
“He’s hard work sometimes. Absolutely refuses to make an effort to get in the car — the car I changed for him!! 😁 I love big dogs, and I’m old, so we go well together. Now I just have to get him to step up into the car. 😉”

And honestly… this is what a home does to a dog.

From an elderly boy facing another winter in Romania, to this beautiful, contented soul who finally knows what warmth, comfort, love and belonging feel like.
Look at him.

This is what rescue is all about.

🌸 POSIE HAS EVERYTHING... EXCEPT A HOME! 💔

We genuinely thought Posie would have been snapped up by now.

A gorgeous young girl who can live with dogs AND cats? Surely someone would fall in love with her?!

But no. Posie is still waiting. 😭

She turned one without a family. Summer has come and gone. And now we're heading towards another season with Posie still in the shelter.

It breaks our hearts because she has so much life ahead of her, and every day spent waiting is a day she could have been making memories with someone who loves her. ❤️

💔🍀 IS CHANCE DESTINED FOR A LIFE WITHOUT HIS NAMESAKE? 🍀💔

Imagine being called Chance... but never actually being given one. 😭

That's the heartbreaking reality for this lovely boy.

Week after week, we share his face. We tell his story. We hope someone will fall in love with him.

And week after week, the applications just don't come. 💔

WHAT IS IT ABOUT CHANCE THAT NOBODY WANTS? 🥺

Is it because he's nervous? Because he might need a little extra patience? Because he isn't the most confident dog in the shelter?

Surely none of those things should mean he misses out on a family of his own? ❤️

We've reached K in Shiloh's A-Z...

💔 K IS FOR KENNELS... AND WE'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THEM!

April 2024. That's when Shiloh's kennel journey began.

And here we are, 30 days into his adoption campaign, still trying to find the person who will change his life.

Shiloh knows the kennel routine. He knows his favourite staff members. He knows where his safe space is.

But there's one thing he doesn't know...

What it's like to have a home of his own. 🥹

And we'd really, REALLY like to change that.

He's not the nervous boy who can't meet new people. He CAN, and he's getting brilliant at it!

HE MAKES HIMSELF INVISIBLE… BUT HE’S WAITING TO BE SEEN ❤️🐾

Botic has learned that the safest place in the world is the corner of his kennel.
When people approach, this beautiful boy curls himself into a tiny ball, as though being invisible might keep him safe. 💔

But take him outside and something incredible happens.

The fear begins to lift. He sniffs the grass, explores, walks beside you and slowly becomes the dog he was always meant to be. A gentle, curious soul who just wants to experience life.

Then he returns to his kennel… and goes straight back to the corner.

Botic isn’t difficult. He isn’t aggressive. He hasn’t given up.
He’s simply frightened, and he needs someone who understands that trust can’t be rushed. ❤️

He can live with dogs, cats and children aged 10+, and he shares his kennel with more than 10 other dogs.

He doesn’t need someone to fix him.
He just needs someone willing to stay, be patient and show him that the world outside his kennel can be safe.
