Pawprints to Freedom is compassionate about rescuing dogs, both in the U.K. The rescue was founded back in 2017 and has grown each year since. As a rescue, we love what we do, but we do not want to have to do this forever. Alongside rescuing dogs, our focus is to tackle the very root of the stray issues, by spaying as many dogs as possible, therefore reducing the number of strays. Another focus cl

Adoption fees:

Our current adoption fees are £400 for residents of mainland England and Wales. For residents of Scotland, it's £420. As part of our neuter incentive program, all puppies under 9 months old are subject to an additional £100 fee, which is fully refundable upon receipt of vet confirmation your pup as been neutered within 6 months of arrival or in accordance with your vets recommendation. Sid is 4 years old, fluffy, fun-loving and still waiting for someone to choose him. 🥹

He's the sort of boy who should be out discovering new walks, getting muddy, having adventures and coming home tired and happy afterwards. Instead, he's still waiting in Romania.

🕊️ Freedom Still Doesn't Have Her Freedom 💔

Her name feels more heartbreaking every time we write it.

Freedom.

Yet at 4 years old, after spending 3 long years in shelter, she is still waiting for exactly that.

No family has chosen her. No home is waiting for her. And despite us sharing her beautiful face again and again, Freedom is still behind shelter walls. 😭

She is such a sweet girl. She's dog friendly 🐶, has a beautiful soul and has somehow remained hopeful despite spending most of her life waiting.

But now we're not just asking for a home.

We're running out of time to find one.

Freedom has a stubby tail, and with changing laws, she urgently needs to reach safety. We cannot bear the thought that after waiting for 3 years, her chance at freedom could be taken away altogether.

She deserves to know grass beneath her paws.

She deserves a comfy bed.

She deserves someone who looks at her and says, "You're coming home." 🤍

Goose is deaf.

There. We've said it.

Now can we talk about everything else he is? 🥹

He's FUN.
He's affectionate.
He's energetic.
He's ridiculously enthusiastic about life.
And he absolutely LOVES getting attention from his humans. ❤️

Goose doesn't spend his days worrying about the fact he can't hear. He just gets on with being Goose!

What he is struggling with is kennel life.

This gorgeous boy has so much energy and affection bottled up, and he desperately needs somewhere he can finally relax, learn, play and become part of someone's everyday life.

Star would like to demonstrate that at 10 years old, he's still got it.

Our clever boy already has some tricks up his sleeve and, most importantly, he LOVES engaging with the people he trusts. 💙

Star is smart, trainable and definitely not ready to spend his retirement doing nothing!

Okay... he probably wouldn't object to a comfy bed and an afternoon snooze. But a gentleman needs balance. 😂

Behind all the requirements we've talked about over the last three weeks is a funny, clever and affectionate dog with bags of personality.

For 20 days we've shown you the funny Star, the cuddly Star, the complicated Star and the ridiculously cute Star.

And he's still here. 💔

But here's the thing...

Star doesn't know he's "hard to home".

He doesn't know that being 10 years old makes people scroll past.

He doesn't know his requirements make his pool of potential homes smaller.

He just knows that when someone he loves appears at his kennel door, he's happy. When the lead comes out, it's WALK TIME. And when there's a tennis ball involved, life is pretty good. 🎾😂

Bubu is 10 years old. He's already lost his home, spent far too long in the shelter and now, because of his cropped tail, his future is becoming increasingly uncertain.

We need to get this boy to safety. We need someone to choose him before it's too late. 🙏

Bubu isn't asking for his whole life back. He just needs someone to give him the years he has ahead.
