💅 Introducing NAIL BAR the immersive experience taking over StoryFest 2026!

Lead Writer/Creator: Afsaneh Gray
Co-Writer/Creator: Kelly Jones

This will be an episodic comedy-drama, riffing off classic soaps and performed in a disused shop on Holloway Road. But this is not like any other nail bar on the street.

Well Gel Nails is a space where those on the run can hide – including the owners themselves – who will do anything to protect what they’ve built.

19 days.
Countless fake blood stains.
Zero desire to let this one go

From 5–23 May, Let the Right One In transformed into snowy playgrounds, frozen lakes and tonight we say goodbye.

Humans of introducing actor Rhys Quilley

“Growing up I played for Queens Park Rangers Academy before being diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis in my hip at 18, which stopped me playing football. Coming from completely different circles, acting never even crossed my mind. A year after my operation, my best mate’s stepdad suggested I try acting and I started attending classes at Platform in Islington. Thanks to my first acting teachers Amber and Anna, they recommended me to NYT.

The football and acting world are very different but also very similar. I’ve tried to retain the football discipline combined with the childlike wonder that lives in theatre.”
