Director of Cricket Dave Long was this season's recipient of the Ken Piesse medal (for sevices to the ACS playing group). Dave has been a tireless worker in getting veterans teams on the field, including finding grounds, players and more. It's been a considerable effort and well deserved recipient of the award. He's pictured here along with Ken Piesse himself and previous winners Pete Glenton and Keith Jansz.

An unusual circumstance for the cricketing statisticians out there - 5 bowlers for the ACS in our social game against Blackbridge CC yesterday at ground got a wicket in their first over. Congrats from left to right Dave, Ravi, Jeff, Danny and Mark on your bowling efforts! Skipper Keith Jansz definitely made the right changes on the day!
