• Support NDIS, WHS and organisational compliance
• Promote a positive, respectful and inclusive home environment

What an amazing week filled with fun,friendship, & community! 💙

🌊 Enjoyed the beautiful Darwin Dry Season breeze with a relaxing visit to the Waterfront.
🚶‍♂️ Started the day with a refreshing morning walk at Charles Darwin National Park.
🍽️ Shared a delicious lunch together at Berry Springs Tavern.
🎉 Celebrated Bikram's Birthday with lots of smiles, laughter, and good company. 🎂🥳
🛠️ Got creative during our DIY project at Palmerston Bunnings, building skills while having fun!

Helping People Achieve (HPA) – Darwin NT

Are you practical, reliable, people-focused and looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference?

HPA is seeking an All-Rounder Employment Mentor to support people with disability to develop workplace skills, confidence and independence across our commercial businesses.

🔨 What you'll be doing:

• Supporting and mentoring supported employees in the workplace
• Providing hands-on coaching and developing employment skills
• Working across Kokoda Workshop, Breaking Ground, Ausdesigns and other HPA business areas
• Assisting with gardening, maintenance, workshop, production and general commercial activities
• Supporting workplace safety, productivity and quality
• Completing accurate, person-centred shift notes and documentation
• Encouraging independence and participation in meaningful employment

✅ We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience supporting people with disability or in a similar role
• Practical hands-on skills and a willingness to learn
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, patient and person-centred approach
• Ability to work across different environments and tasks
• Current NT Driver's Licence
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working with Children Clearance, or willingness to obtain
• First Aid & CPR, or willingness to obtain

🌟 Experience in workshops, gardening, maintenance, manufacturing, printing or other practical industries will be highly regarded.
