The Eagles Basketball Club is deeply saddened by the passing of Dan “Schultzy” Schultz.

Schultzy was a valued supporter of girls basketball in the Northern Territory for many years, including coaching the U16 Division 2 girls last year. Many of our Eagles girls had the opportunity to train with him and play alongside his daughter Emma.

We are grateful for the time, care and encouragement he gave to young players and for his contribution to our basketball community.

On behalf of the entire Eagles family, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Marion, Emma and Hannah. Our thoughts are with you, and everyone who knew and loved Schultzy, during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest peacefully, Schultzy. 🦅🤍

🦅 OUR LEGENDARY BIG MAN — DAVID OATES 🦅
185 games. 1,628 points. Every game with the Eagles.

Big Dave has been a huge part of our club, bringing strength in the paint and flying the Eagles flag across all 185 appearances.
A familiar face, a respected teammate and a big man with an even bigger place in the Eagles family.

Show Dave some love and head to the game at 4pm
